There is still plenty of time to crochet or tie this year's Christmas presents. On MYO's instruction page, you will already find over 50 ideas for products that you can create yourself! Giving away something you have made yourself has a completely different value than something you have bought, and is also easier on the wallet. Below are presented some products that are perfect Christmas gifts and some “tweaks” on instructions that we tested with slightly different yarns than before. Most of the instructions we have can be crocheted with different yarns, so you can decide for yourself if you want to make the design differently than in the basic instructions.

Unleash your creativity with EKO Terry

Hox hox, all terry fans! We start with a slightly different tip on a product set that you haven't seen before. EKO Terry also works for crocheting accessories!

Allow tested the terry yarn in the color beige for a bag and a bucket hat, you can see the result below. Het instructies worden ondersteuning gevonden op de website, samo het yarn je verzameld naar terry. You can crochet EKO Terry with a crochet hook 8mm or 10mm, but remember to crochet just loosely.

Yarn consumption:The hat approx. 350g, the bag approx. 700g

Crocheted bags

Classic, crocheted bags can be made in different colors and shapes, and we have many nice instructions on the website! If you are looking for a quick and easy project, on a bag that will still be just the right size, we can recommend our classic & crochet bag in a neutral autumn color. This bag has been made with 800g EKO Medium, the yarn consumption depends on the size of the bag (see instructions below).

Crocheted mittens

Crocheted mittens in woolen yarn are a great gift that will keep you warm all winter long. With our new instructions and the yarn Basic Wool, you can crochet the mittens to exactly the size you want, which makes this Christmas present suitable for everyone, from children to adults!

Yarn consumption: approx. 150g, depending on size

Crochet mittens in the color “Light gray”

Classic, crocheted pot holders

A safe choice especially for those of you who are total beginners and want something very easy to crochet, which also goes fast! You can make pot holders in different colors and also from different yarns, but we prefer to use EKO Medium so that the pot holder really insulates heat properly.

Yarn consumption: About 150-200g depending on the size you make

Crocheted Oven mitt

A thick pot mitt that is crocheted in EKO Medium, and is very quick to make! For this project you need EKO Medium Tube yarn and crochet hook 8 mm.

Yarn consumption: About 200-350g of yarn, depending on how big you choose to make the pot mitt.

Crocheted baskets

Crocheted baskets can be made in several of our yarns and used for different purposes. Give away as Christmas presents, or use baskets to create a Christmas feeling at home!

Yarn consumption: 300g-1000g depending on how big a basket you want to make. The basket in the pictures has been crocheted with EKO Medium and weighs approx. 400g.

Macramé "Yoga mat strap"

Incredibly nice gift for someone who often goes to the gym or yoga room, and needs to bring their mat! This carrying strap can of course also be used for other purposes. The strap is quick to tie (2-3h), you need a roll of yarn EKO Braided rope 3mm and two macramé rings.

Yarn consumption: Approx. 300g + 2 rings

Crocheted placemats with different yarns

In our classic placemats we have used the yarn EKO Braided rope 4mm, but these can also be crocheted with other yarns! which is available in more colors in our store. A new favorite is EKO Nano tube yarn, which makes the pads slightly thinner and softer in quality.

Yarn consumption: approx. 170-300g per mat, depending on size and which yarn you use. One tulle EKO Nano (700g) is enough for four (!).
