6 decorating tips for autumn 🍂
Crochet and macramé are a perfect occupation now that the evenings are getting darker, and also a relatively inexpensive way to create nice & sustainable interiors for your home.
When the evenings start to get longer, it´s the perfect opportunity to get out the crochet hook and snuggle up properly with a cup of tea, good music, and creative creation. Crocheting and macramé are also a relatively cheap way to create nice and durable interior decoration for the home. To inaugurate autumn, we have selected 5 instructions that we have on the instructions page, and which are perfect for decorating for autumn.
Crocheted pillowcases
Crochet cushion covers are a fantastic way to give new life to old cushions and to add color to the living room. Crocheting them yourself, from recycled material, saves the environment and gives you unique interior design that no one else has. On the instructions page, we already have two instructions for crocheted pillows with the yarn EKO Mini, but you can also make these with our other tube yarns (EKO Medium or EKO Nano). In that case, however, keep in mind that the thickness of the yarn affects how much yarn is used.
During the autumn, we will also publish instructions for a new cushion cover in EKO Nano, so stay tuned!

Crocheted coasters
Crocheted coasters don´t always have to be more to look nice. Take the opportunity to make them in the quantity and size you want, and also to test our different yarns. We know that these have been crocheted i.a. with EKO Nano, Mini and Single Twisted 4mm, so a tip is to test different yarns that give different structures to the pads.
The underlay in the picture has been made with EKO Braided rope 4mm, which is also included in our DIY kit.
The instructions for the coasters can be found here:
Macramé cords
Electrical cords are probably not the coziest detail in the home, especially if there are many of them - so why not cover them! You can use our simple instructions on how to cover electrical cords for all kinds of chargers or lamps.
You can find the instructions on the website, in the macramé category:
Crocheted Pouf
Crochet poufs are perfect to have in the living room (or why not the children´s room) but also provide a use for old textiles - you crochet these simply with our instructions, and fill with e.g. old sheets that you no longer have use for.
You can find the instructions for the pouf here:
Crocheted rugs
Crocheted rugs can be made in an incredible number of different variations, and with basically all of our ECO yarns. On the instruction page, we have instructions for carpets made in i.a. terry yarn EKO Froté, EKO Medium and EKO Braided rope 5mm. The same instruction for e.g. a round rug works well with different yarns, so dare to try! Also using several colors gives a lovely pop of color to the carpets.

Crochet drop baskets
Crochet drop baskets are beautiful and practical, and can be made both with or without a wooden ring. These baskets have been crocheted with EKO Medium, but it is also possible to use other yarns for these, e.g. ECO Braided rope 4mm.
