Here's how to do it
It's a beginner-friendly bag and relatively quick to make. It's cool, stylish, and modern, and can be crocheted in any color you desire. /Emma

Round 1: Start by making a slip knot and then crochet a chain of 21 chain stitches. Begin in the second chain stitch from the hook, which means you skip the chain stitch closest to the hook. Work a total of 20 single crochet stitches.
In the last stitch, work an increase by adding 2 single crochet stitches so that you have a total of 3 single crochet stitches in the same stitch.
Now work along the other side of the foundation chain: crochet 1 single crochet stitch in each stitch, a total of 19 stitches. Finish with 1 extra single crochet stitch in the last stitch.
Place 1 marker in the last stitch so you always know which stitch it is and can more easily count the number of stitches in the round. You now have 42 stitches in the round.
If you are unsure how to do this, see the full-length instructional video. If you are unsure how to crochet a chain, see the video below. If you are unsure how to crochet single crochet stitches or how to work around a chain, see the videos below.

A helpful tip is to use a stitch marker in your last stitch so you always know which stitch is the last one and can count to make sure the number of stitches in the round is correct. The bag is worked in a spiral (continuously in rounds).
Round 2: Start by working 2 single crochet stitches in the first stitch, then work 18 single crochet stitches. In the next 3 stitches, work an increase in each stitch (2 single crochet stitches in the same stitch). Then work 18 single crochet stitches along the long side and make increases (2 single crochet stitches in the same stitch) in the last 2 stitches of the round. Move the marker to the last stitch of the round. (48 stitches in the round)
From now through Round 15, you should have the same number of stitches in every round (48). The rounds where you work bobbles should contain 16 bobbles.
Round 3: Work 1 single crochet stitch in each stitch all the way around.
Round 4: Now begin working bobble stitches. *Work 1 bobble stitch, then 2 single crochet stitches*. Repeat the sequence *...* 15 more times.
If you are unsure how to work a bobble stitch, see the video below.

Round 5: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around.
Round 6: Work 1 single crochet. *Work 1 bobble stitch, then 2 single crochets*. Repeat the sequence *...* 14 more times. You have 2 stitches left in the round. Finish with 1 bobble stitch and 1 single crochet.
Round 7: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around.
Round 8: *Work 2 single crochets, then 1 bobble stitch*. Repeat the sequence *...* 15 more times.
Round 9: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around.
Round 10: *Work 1 bobble stitch, then 2 single crochets.* Repeat the sequence *...* 15 more times.
Round 11: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around.
Round 12: Work 1 single crochet. *Work 1 bobble stitch, then 2 single crochets*. Repeat the sequence *...* 14 more times. Work 1 bobble stitch, then 1 single crochet.
Round 13: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around.
Round 14: *Work 2 single crochets, then 1 bobble stitch*. Repeat the sequence *...* 15 more times.
Round 15: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around.
Cut the yarn and fasten off.
If you are unsure how to fasten off, see the video below.
Handle
Mark the placement of the handle with stitch markers on the short sides of the bag. The handle should be 5 single crochets wide.
Make a slip knot and attach it to the edge with 1 slip stitch. Work 5 single crochets along one edge of the bag. Make 1 chain and turn.
Repeat (5 single crochets and 1 chain) until you have 33 rows, or until the handle reaches your preferred length.
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail approximately 20 centimeters long. Attach the handle to the other side of the bag by sewing it in place. Pull the yarn up and down as if sewing, using your crochet hook or a large needle if you prefer. Cut the yarn and fasten all ends.
Work slip stitches along the edge of the bag and along both sides of the handle: Make a slip knot and attach it to the edge with 1 slip stitch. Begin at the join between the long side and the handle. Work slip stitches all the way around. Cut the yarn and fasten off.
Repeat on the other side, but when cutting the yarn, leave a longer tail for the final step (if you would like a rounded handle to hold). Measure a long piece of yarn, approximately twice the length of your handle, and cut it.
If you would like a rounded handle to hold, use the saved long yarn tail to sew the long sides of the handle together, inside the slip stitches you just made. Use the same technique as when you attached the handle to the short side. Cut the yarn and fasten the ends.
If desired, sew a magnetic clasp inside the bag to close it.

Fasten off and then you are done!
