Crochet a Super Stylish Laptop Case
In about 1-2 hours, you can crochet this beautiful laptop case. Choose your favorite colors and get started! You will need EKO Ribbon yarn and a 10 mm crochet hook. This tutorial is also available as a full-length video, making it perfect for beginners. In the video, the colors "Nature White" and "Bright Blue" are used (the blue color in the video is EKO Medium, but you can easily choose both colors with EKO Ribbon).
Yarn Consumption: approx. 700 g (350 g per color). The amount of yarn depends on how large your laptop case is and how tightly you crochet.

Here's how to do it
This laptop case is crocheted in one piece. It is easy to adjust the size to fit your laptop. /Victoria
Throughout the process, you will crochet with both colors each time.
Step 1: The Chain
Start by making a loop around your crochet hook. One way you can do this is by wrapping the yarn around your index and middle fingers, then pulling up the yarn so the loop locks when you tighten it. Next, crochet chain stitches, yarn over and pull through. The number of chain stitches depends on how wide you want your laptop case to be. Continue until you have a chain that is as long as the short side of your laptop. Once you've crocheted the chain to your desired length, make one more chain and turn your work.
Round 2
Now, we will crochet round 2 of the laptop case. We will be crocheting in rounds from now on. Start by skipping the first stitch and go into the second stitch. Yarn over, pull through. You will have two loops on your hook, yarn over again and pull through both loops. This is a single crochet. Continue crocheting in this way until you reach the end of the chain. You should have one stitch fewer than the number of chain stitches you made. Crochet one more single crochet into the last stitch. Now we will crochet on the other side of the chain. Crochet single crochets until you reach the end of the chain and return to the starting point.
Row 3 and onwards
Now, crochet one single crochet in each stitch. Continue this way until your laptop case is as large as you want it to be. Remember to finish when you reach the side of your laptop case.
Cut the yarn and fasten the yarn ends. Since we are crocheting with double yarn, it’s a good idea to thread one of the yarns through a nearby stitch on the inside of the case with the help of your crochet hook, then tie a knot with both yarns to make a small and neat knot. After that, hide the yarn ends under nearby stitches.
Now your laptop case is finished!

Klipp av garnen och fäst garnänden. Eftersom vi virkar i dubbelt garn så är det smart att trä ena garnet med hjälp av virknålen i en närliggande maska på insidan av väskan för att sedan knyta en knut med båda garnen för en liten och smidig knut. Göm sedan garnändarna under närliggande maskor.
