Here's how to do it
The dress is crocheted in one piece, you start at the bottom of the back and crochet the dress as long as you wish. When you are satisfied with the length, crochet the shoulder part. Then proceed to crochet the front of the dress. Finally, connect the sides with each other. Please share your pictures of your dresses:) /Rebecca

Number of stitches on the chain for size:
XS - 46 (23 treble crochet wide)
S - 50 stitches on your chain (25 treble crochet wide)
M - 56 stitches on your chain (28 treble crochet wide)
L - 62 stitches on your chain (31 treble crochet wide
XL - 68 stitches on your chain (34 treble crochet wide)
Hint! Unsure about the size? Measure with the chain where you are widest, for example across the bust/bust. The chain is half the measure of the circumference of your garment.
Keep in mind that measurements are approximate as our way of crocheting may vary depending on how firm or loose you crochet.
Step 1: Start by making a slip knot. You do it like this: wrap the yarn about two fingers so that the threads cross each other, then pull the yarn through the loop and tighten. You now have a slip knot.
Then crochet a chain with as many stitches on the chain as for the size you want to crochet your garment.
How to crochet a chain: from your slip knot you should now crochet a chain. So put the crochet into the slip knot and tighten the yarn slightly, catch the yarn with your crochet hook and pull through the loop, so continue until you have the right number of loops on your chain.
(Note: the loop around your crochet hook does not count as part of the chain's number).
Row 1: Now you will crochet single crochets.
Begin by making a chain with as many stitches as you want for the desired width.
Start in the second chain from your hook. Insert the hook into the chain, yarn over, and pull up a loop so that you have two loops on the hook. Yarn over again and pull through both loops. You have now made a single crochet. Continue working one single crochet in each chain across the row. The total number of single crochets should be one less than the number of chains in your foundation chain. Finish the row by making one chain and then turn your work.
Row 2: Start in the second chain from your hook, skipping the chain closest to the hook. Crochet one single crochet (UK: double crochet) in each stitch across. The total number of single crochets will be one less than the number of chains in your foundation chain. Finish the row by making one chain and turn your work.
Row 3: Crochet one treble crochet followed by one chain in every other stitch.
--> Begin by chaining four, which counts as one treble and one chain in the first stitch. Skip one stitch, then make one treble crochet and one chain in the next stitch. Repeat this sequence across the row, then turn your work.
To make a treble crochet: yarn over twice, insert the hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop so that you have four loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through the first two loops, yarn over and pull through the next two loops, and yarn over and pull through the last two loops. You have now completed one treble. After each treble, chain one to create a space between stitches, skip the next stitch, and continue across the row.
Row 4: Crochet one treble crochet followed by one chain in every other stitch, placing each treble crochet directly on top of the treble from the previous row. Begin with four chains, which count as one treble and one chain in the first stitch. Skip one stitch, then make one treble and one chain in the next stitch.
Repeat this sequence across the row. The last treble should be worked into the third chain of the starting chain from the previous row. Because you chained four at the start and work the last treble into the third chain, there will always be one chain space between your trebles. Turn your work and repeat Row 4 until your front piece reaches the desired length.
JOIN THE SHOULDER SECTIONS
You decide the width of your neckline and shoulders. For reference, the shoulder sections on the dress in the pictures are 7 treble crochets wide. Measure and mark where you want the shoulder sections with stitch markers.
Start as in previous rows by chaining 4. Work treble crochets (with 1 chain between each stitch until you reach your first marker. Next, chain the number of chains needed for the width of your neckline. This means that the total number of treble crochets and chains in the neckline gap should match the number of chains you just made.
At the marker for the next shoulder section, continue working 1 treble crochet and 1 chain in every other stitch until you reach the end of the row. Turn your work.
BACK PIECE
The back piece is started immediately after you have completed the shoulder sections. Continue working in the same way as before, beginning each row with 4 chains and then working 1 treble crochet and 1 chain n every other stitch. The last treble crochet is worked into the 3rd chain of the turning chain at the beginning of the row.
Work the back piece to the same length or longer than the front piece, depending on the style you want. Count the number of rows of treble crochets so you know how many rows you have to work.
The last row is finished with 1 chain (ch). Finish the back piece with 1 row of single crochets. Work 1 single crochet into the space between your treble crochets. Then work 2 single crochet into each space between treble crochets across the row. Work 1 chain, cut the yarn, and fasten off. Secure all yarn ends.
JOIN THE SIDES
You decide how deep you want the armholes and whether you want to crochet the sides completely together or leave one or two slits. Mark where you want to join the pieces. Cut a piece of yarn approximately twice as long as the seam. Make a slip knot on the yarn. Insert the hook through both the front and back pieces. Join the yarn with a slip stitch (sl st) where you want to start. Weave the yarn up and down, as if sewing, through the stitches all the way. Cut the yarn and fasten off.
Done! Now you can finally wear your Solveij.

JOINING THE SHOULDER SECTIONS
You decide the width of the neckline and shoulders. For reference, the shoulder sections on the dress in the photos are 7 tr wide. Measure and mark where you want the shoulder sections.
Start as in previous rows with a chain of 4 ch. Work tr with 1 ch between each tr up to your first marker. Then make a chain the width of the neckline opening. This means the number of tr and ch in the gap (neckline) should equal the number of chains you make.
At the next shoulder marker, continue working *1 tr, 1 ch in every other stitch* until the end of the row. Turn.
BACK
The back is started immediately after completing the shoulder sections. Continue as before, beginning with 4 ch and working 1 tr, 1 ch in every other stitch. The last tr is worked into the 3rd ch of the turning chain from the start of the row.
Work the back as long as or longer than the front, depending on your desired style. Count the number of rows of tr so you know how many rows you are working. End the last row with 1 ch.
Finish the back with 1 row of sc. Work 1 sc in the space between each tr. Work 2 sc in the space between each tr across the row. Ch 1, cut yarn, and fasten off. Fasten all yarn ends.
