Crochet Flower "Lily"
Crochet a small cute flower.
The flower is crocheted in EKO Nano and crochet hook 6 mm. For example, you can decorate your bag or basket with or put a safety pin in it and wear it on your shirt. It would also be super nice on a hairpin in your hair. There are a lot of things to do with this little flower. The instruction is beginnerfriendly and the flower is quick to make.
Yarn Access: 5-10 g
This is what you need:
Here's how to do it
The flower is crocheted in the magic ring (inner ring) and then five petals are crocheted in the ring. At the end, the magic ring is pulled together and forms the flower.
Inner/Magic Ring
Start with a magic ring (inner ring).
Hold the yarn in your left hand. Twist the yarn around your fingers (left hand) three times. Use your crochet hook to go under the first two loops and hook the third with your crochet hook. Pick up the yarn again and pull under the two first loops, hook the yarn onto the crochet hook and pull through. The loop on your crochet hook holds together the “inner ring” and you can proceed below.
The petals
We will now crochet 5 pieces of petals in the same way.
Start with three double crochets, then chaining three. Finish with a slip stitch in the magic ring.
So, start with a double crochet. Take the yarn over the crochet hook and go down into the ring. Pick up yarn and pull through so that you have three loops on the crochet hook. Pick up yarn and pull through two loops, pick up yarn again and pull through the last two loops. Crochet a total of three double crochets. Then chain three. Pick up yarn and pull through, three times. Last, make a slip stitch in the ring, go down with the crochet hook into the ring, pick up yarn and pull through all the loops right away.
Now you repeat this four more times so you have five petals.
When you're done, cut the yarn and tie the ends of the yarn together on the back. Hide the end of the yarn under some stitches.
You're done, hope you want to crochet lots of flowers with us!
