Köp produktHere's how to do it
The bottle holder is crocheted so that we start with the bottom (from the center outwards) and finally crochet a shoulder strap. If you want wider shoulder straps, we also have some other instructions for crocheted bags that you can use when you get to that particular part!
Try to make a starting loop by wrapping the yarn 1.5 turns around two fingers and catching the yarn furthest inwards by going under the first yarn on the finger. Pull the innermost yarn with you and loosen the yarn around your fingers and you now have a starter loop.
Crochet a chain of four air stitches: Align the loop you just made around your crochet hook so it is tight around the crochet hook. Now we will start to crochet the chain, using the crochet hook and intercept the yarn with the end that comes from the yarn roll (you temporarily have two loops on the crochet hook) and pull through so that a loop is formed (first loop). Do this until you have four loops on the crochet hook. Now you will crochet together your first and your last stitch by threading through the crochet needle in the first loop and catch the yarn that comes from your role, pull through like we did and you now have a ring containing four air stitches.
In the ring we are going to make 11 pieces of single stitches and we do this by threading the crochet needle into the ring to catch yarn from the roll from the other side, when we have two loops on the crochet hook we capture yarn in the same way again from the yarn on the finger to then take it through the two loops on the crochet and we now have a loop on the crochet hook. This is our first - and we will make 11 pieces in the ring. A tip if it gets crowded is to push the meshes together so everyone can fit.
When we have finished with the ring containing 11 single stitches, in the second stitch we will start by making two single stitches in each stitch around the ring so we have a total of 20 single stitches in this round. The last stitch is a slip stitch: when you have two loops on the crochet, we pull through the outermost loop so that we have one loop left on the crochet.
Take your water bottle and measure out so that it matches the size of the bottom with the size of the ring that we crocheted.
Now we will start the sides of the bottle in the mesh technique, from the slip stitch we will now crochet three pieces of chains.
Having made the chain stitches, we should skip a stitch on the ring and insert the crochet needle into the front stitch arc, making our first double crochet. One double crochet can be said to be two of a single crochet mesh:
To make a double crochet we make a wrap by wrapping the yarn around the crochet hook once. Stick the crochet into the second stitch from the crochet (so we skip one), pick up the yarn and pull it back through the stitch again so that you have three loops on the crochet hook. Pick up yarn again from the yarn sitting on your finger and pull through the first two loops, so that you have two loops left on the crochet hook. Pick up yarn again in the same way and pull through the last two loops. Now the double crochet is ready!
After each double crochet we will crochet another chain, this will create space
Now make 9 double crochet around the bottom, remembering to crochet only in the front stitch arc now during the first turn.
When we have come around a round, we will put them together by making, in the second chain on the chain as we did at the beginning of the lap, a slip stitch.
For the second round on the sides, we will do basically the same thing, nine pieces of double crochet above the lower double crochet as well as an additional chain.
When we have reached our desired height of the bottle holder, we finish in the same way as the other turns, by making a slip stitch.
Now it's time to create the shoulder strap consisting of 60 chains, this you can adjust according to what suits you and how long you want it.
You can also crochet several rows on the shoulder strap, isf you just crochet 1-2 more rows on the chain.
Finish by attaching it to the opposite side and hide the end of the yarn. Now you're done!
