Membership Terms – MYO Make Your Own

1. About Membership

As a member of MYO, you get access to MYO's digital instruction library and the other benefits included in the membership at any given time.

The content of the membership is continuously developed, and new instructions, features, and benefits may be added.

The membership is personal and may not be shared with others.

2. Price and Payment

The current price is always displayed when you sign up for the membership.

You can choose between the payment options available at the time of registration. Payment is made in advance for the selected billing period.

Payments are processed via Stripe and automatically charged using the payment method provided when you sign up.

The membership automatically renews for the same billing period until cancelled.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your membership at any time.

When you cancel your membership, future automatic renewals will be stopped. You will retain access to the membership until the end of the period you have already paid for.

There is no additional fee for cancelling your membership.

4. Price changes

MYO may change the price of the membership, for example due to increased costs, changes to the content of the membership, or other relevant changes to the service or business.

A price change will not affect a billing period that has already been paid for.

If the price of an ongoing membership is increased, MYO will inform the member within a reasonable period before the new price takes effect. The notice will clearly state the new price and the date on which it will take effect.

If the member does not wish to continue the membership at the new price, the membership can be cancelled before the price change takes effect. The membership will then end no later than at the end of the period already paid for.

5. Access to the Service

The membership provides access to the content and benefits described on MYO’s website.

MYO continuously works to develop and improve the membership. Individual instructions, features or benefits may therefore be changed or replaced over time, provided that the main function and value of the membership are not unreasonably reduced.

Temporary interruptions may occur, for example due to maintenance or technical issues.

6. Right of Withdrawal

When you purchase a membership online, you have the right of withdrawal provided by applicable distance-selling and consumer protection legislation.

As a general rule, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days from the date on which the agreement was entered into.

If you request access to the membership and its digital content during the withdrawal period, specific rules may apply to services or digital content that have already been provided. Information about this will be provided when you purchase the membership.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can use the withdrawal function available on the website or contact MYO.

7. Failed Payments

If a payment cannot be processed, MYO or our payment provider may attempt to process the payment again.

If the payment still cannot be completed, access to the membership may be suspended or terminated.

8. Personal Data

MYO processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Personal data is used, among other things, to administer your membership, process payments and provide access to the service.

If you have any questions about your membership or wish to make a complaint regarding the service, you can contact MYO using the contact details available at makeyourown.se.

Your rights under mandatory consumer protection legislation are not affected by these terms.

10. Changes to These Membership Terms

MYO may update these terms when there is an objective reason to do so, for example due to changes to the service, applicable legislation or the way in which the membership is provided.

If a change is of material significance to an ongoing membership, MYO will inform the member before the change takes effect.
